Colin Prosser, BSc Ph.D Principal Geologist, Natural England, works for Natural England identifying, conserving, managing and promoting the nationally important highlights of England’s geology. Many of these sites are protected as Sites of Special Scientific Interest and include fossil and mineral rich sites that have yielded specimens vital to scientific research and education.
A essential part of Colin Prosser’s job is trying to balance the need for fossil and mineral collecting with the need to conserve the sites that contain them for future research and education. He has published papers on Jurassic brachiopods and on the conservation and management of fossil and mineral rich sites. Colin Prosser is a member of the editorial board of Geology Today.

I am under graduated geologist, at south valley university, Egypt.
i have the honor being here.
I am an 11 years old student in Canada. I am following my father’s footstep who is a marine geologist. Happy to be a participant.

I am v.happy for being here>>>i wish i find the interest
a question about any international scholarships opportunity???
Hello Everybody !
I am a retired Asst. Lecturer in Geology at University of Yangon, Myanmar. Now I am a member in Myanmar Earthquake Committee. I have some publication of earthquake, you can see at my website. I am interested in this conference.
Welcome!
i am postgraduate geologist, at Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotanhy, Lucknow, India. i have the honor bring here.
I am a Research Scholar in Dept of Geology, Nainital, India. I am really interested for this experience…………… ait’s an honour for me……..
I am a Jeweler in Santorini ! Happy to be with U all !!!!!!!!!
really interested in hearing what everyone has to say; especially Mr. Doyle. his book helped me with my paleontology paper in my 1st year. (graduate student, presidency university, Calcutta)
Glad to have been of assistance. I hope you and the other participants enjoy the event.
looking forward to revisit fossils, my background is in geochemistry
Great!
I am working in issues related with mass movements triggered by low intensity rainfalls. In some study cases I think that special clay minerals are playing an important role, so I am joining to this event in order to get some hints to aboard in a more appropriate way those issues.
hi i am working as ageoraphy lec. n i interst in geology n mineral . so i am so happy with u all .
Although clay minerals are not covered directly in this event, I hope that you will find something of interest.
I am glad about this conference, may we download the articles?
geo-cheers!
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in the Geology Today online event. All content used will be freely available during the event.
Thanks,
Juan
I am an amateur with an interest in geology and paleontology.
You are most welcome.
I am undergraduate student of geology from Delhi University,India and it is an absolute honor for being part of this event.I would also thanks for organising this online event,as interested people from all of the world can learn from all of the respected geologists there.
Thanks; I hope you enjoy the event.
to know more about earth in a beautiful manner……like to join all of you
Thanks to all members
The more I study up on this event the more intrigued I become. Glad it fell into my inbox, that I might be a humble listener and learner of the nature of life’s history at this event (soon to be graduate of Marine Biology from Scotland). Call me eager amateur.
Welcome! I hope you learn a lot.
The organising team are looking forward to the event!
